Forza Motorsport 7

Forza Motorsport 7 is a 2017 racing video game developed by Turn 10 Studios and published by Microsoft Studios, serving as the tenth installment in the Forza series. It was released on Windows 10 and the Xbox One family of consoles on October 3, 2017, with early access to players who pre-ordered the game's Ultimate and Deluxe editions. It was succeeded by Forza Motorsport, the eighth in the Motorsport series, on October 10, 2023.

Forza Motorsport 7 features over 700 cars — including new Forza Edition cars, most of which have been brought over from Forza Horizon 3 and more than 200 different configurations to race on across 32 locations at launch, including all from Forza Motorsport 6; a fictional street circuit in Dubai is one of the new circuits and several tracks returning from Forza Motorsport 4 including Maple Valley Raceway, Mugello Circuit and Suzuka Circuit. Two features that are new to the Motorsport title include dynamic weather (previously seen in Horizon titles) and customizable drivers.

I developed a wide variety of features within Forza Motorsport 7. These features ranged from UI Development, full system features such as the Race Shop, to networking support and other aspects of development. My most notable feature I worked extensively on was Forza Race Regulations (FRR).

Forza Race Regulations is a glorified penalty notification system which penalizes players from race start to race finish based on their driving behavior. The underlying system analyzes each players racing behavior, determining whether they are racing clean, or not. The system can determine, and deliver, the appropriate penalties associated to players behavior, such as whether the player cuts the track to gain an advantage over other players, or intentionally colliding with players to overtake their position or disrupt their racing
